THE TITANS
In Greek Myhology the Titans were a race of God Giants resulting from the union of the Sky God Uranus and the Earth Mother Gaia. They ruled the world at the beginning of creation. They were the personifications of Nature.

ACHILLES
In Greek Mythology Achilles was the son of the sea nymph Thetis. A seer predicted that the son of Thetis would overthrow his father, so both Zeus and Poseidon who courted Thetis would not marry her.

ARTEMIS
In Greek Mythology Artemis was the daughter of Zeus, King of the Gods and Leto a Titaness. Artemis was the patron of wild animals.

THE GREENMAN
The Greenman is a totally enigmatic figure. It is one of the most ancient of all pagan symbols and yet it is found most frequently in Christian Churches.

BUDDHA Gautama Siddhartha was born in the year 563 BC in the Himalayan foothills at a place called Lumbini. His father was a king and his mother, Queen Maya, conceived while she was still a virgin after an elephant placed a white lotus in her womb.

Michelangelo Buonarroti was born on the 6th of March 1475 in Tuscany, the second of five sons. At the age of 13 he moved to Florence. His first love was sculpture, he detested oil painting and said it was only suitable for women or idlers.
